A non-Muslim terrorist attack? How Could That Be?!?!?

I was reading the reports yesterday concerning the bombing of the government center in Oslo Norway and the attack on the Norwegian youthcamp. The comment posts immediately jumped to Muslim bashing. Now as much as I believe that Islam is an even more manipulative power tool than even Catholicism, there just wasn’t anything to show that Muslims were involved so I posted as much on one of the news sites (CNN) and was immediately attacked as a left wing, pinko, defender of Sharia law, blah blah blah.

The suspect arrested for both attacks turns out to be an Aryan poster child.

 Anders Behring Breivik.

Breivik’s facebook page describes himself as a Christian Conservative.

His two targets were;

#1 The Government

#2 A youth camp sponsored by the labour party.

So, in other words, he attacked big government and the left wing. Can we make comparisons to homegrown terrorist Timothy McVeigh?

Absolutely.

Are christian conservatives capable of committing atrocities?

Absolutely.

Do you think America will wake up to threat from the far right?

Not if Fox can help it. Today’s front page banner on Fox reads:

Madman’ Eyed in Norway Massacre

How come when it’s Muslims involved they are terrorists? When it’s a christian conservative with hatred toward Muslims he’s a madman?

Fox was pretty selective with its use of quotes, for example:

National police chief Sveinung Sponheim told NRK that the suspected gunman’s Internet postings “suggest that he has some political traits directed toward the right, and anti-Muslim views, but whether that was a motivation for the actual act remains to be seen.”

That’s right Fox, protect your own…

Islam has long taken advantage of “multi-culturalism”. I think this man wanted to prove to an overly trusting norwegian society exactly what an enterprising muslim extremist “could do” if so inclined. Setup an agricultural business as cover to buy bomb material. Procure death dealing firearms, etc. Honestly, he proved his point. I bet there will be more gun control and bomb making material control in Norway as a direct result of this. He has succeeded, by a twisted means albeit, to teach Norway a lesson about how muslim extremists can take advantage of overly tolerant immigration and lax control of explosive/firearm materials

He simply is a deluded right wing fundamentalist christian nutbag who believes he fired the first shot in the war on European multiculturalism and liberalism. He was attacking “cultural Marxism” in his own words. It wasn’t as much about the Muslims as it was his hate for the liberal left. Islam is just a focal point.

He also stated his intent to bring back the Knights Templar to begin his crusade.
      Onward christian solders? Seriously?

What he has done is to help prove that religious and political fundamentalism of any stripe is dangerous when taken to the extreme and will now bring people to realize that the people who so voraciously hate Islam are just as bad as the Muslim fundamentalists who hate everything that isn’t.

Somebody needs a big dose of Haloperidol and a straight jacket.
